Tyne Tunnel 2K International 2013 – fastest wheelchair race on the planet

Tyne Tunnel 2K International takes place every September in the dead of night when the A19 road tunnel is closed to traffic and becomes a temporary race track. 50mph down hill with your butt 1 foot from the tarmac and a shoulder burning lung busting climb back out – this race is definately not for the feint-hearted.
